Our pupils are ambassadors for the school and are expected to dress and behave in a way that reflects the standards we seek to achieve. Their general appearance, including uniform should be smart and appropriate for school. If they are unable to wear the agreed uniform for any reason the school should be notified in writing by parents/guardians. Without a valid reason the school may send pupils home to change. Clear guidelines are set out in our school prospectus, pupil planner and our uniform policy with regard to uniform requirements.
In terms of resource management and in line with most schools, we have recently secured a partnership to sell our school uniform through an external provider. We have negotiated a small percentage back to the school on online and shop sales which will be earmarked for additional resources for pupils. There are other suppliers that will sell our uniform in Swansea but obviously the pupils of the school will not benefit directly from the sales from these suppliers.
