Congratulations to Megan Sarfas on the publication of her poem 'The Dragon in my Dreams' in the recently published book titled 'Once upon a dream'.
GCSE results will be available from the school on Thursday, 24th August between 9.00am and 3.30pm. If you are unable to collect them on this day, you may provide an e-mail address and the results will be e-mailed to you after 2:30pm on these days. All pupils will start the new term on Wednesday, 6th September 2017. Please ensure your child prepares for each school day by bringing everything they need with them e.g. books, pencil case, school planner, sports kit, homework, money to top up for lunch at the revaluation units etc.
This took place on 4th July, with some exceptional individual performances across a whole host of disciplines. Winners of the house competition were Hywel.
Well done to everyone involved.
We held a “Wear something blue day” on 30th June. The voluntary contributions collected on this day, amounted to over £500 to support which will be donated to the Lawrence’s roundabout appeal (to raise money for unique water wells in Africa (http://www.lrwa.co.uk/).
Many thanks to all the pupils and staff on the ESDGC committee for organising this event and bringing global issues to the forefront of pupils’ attention.
